Fun Ways to Stick Together
Families come back to Hilton Head Isand year after year because there's so much to do together and for kids to explore on their own. Palmetto Dunes and Sea Pines are particularly family-friendly and offer plenty of family activities. Treat the kids to the Crossings Park, off Palmetto Bay Road, which has ball fields, bike trails, an enclosed playground and is adjacent to the island's only public skate and roller hockey park.
The Arts Center of Coastal Carolina produces several children's events, including musical concerts, a circus and other fun performances. Outside Hilton Head, a full-service wilderness outfitter, organizes a wide array of nature-based enrichment activities and day camps for children. Families will also find nature tours, bike rides, bowling, outdoor festivals, dolphin safaris, chartered fishing excursions and marinas to explore. |
