Operation R&R, a program devoted to providing near-complimentary vacations to members of the military that have served in either Iraq or Afghanistan, was created by Dr. Grant P. Evans in an effort to give over 300 military families the opportunity to reconnect and reinforce relationships with their spouses and children through some much needed rest and relaxation. Through this vital program, ResortQuest Hilton Head Island expresses sincere gratitude to those who have sacrificed and continue to risk their safety and security to protect the freedoms of ours.
For those interested in participating or friends of military families can further inquire at www.operationrestandrelax.org Criteria for military participants are, a minimum of 1 tour of duty in Iraq or Afghanistan, must be married and accompanied by spouse and children (if applicable) and able to stay from 4-7 nights.
