"My family and I own a second row vacation home in Palmetto Dunes. We did extensive renovations to the interior right after purchasing it, so we weren’t sure if we would rent it out as a vacation home. Even though we have extensive property management experience, we live a good distance from the home and we were not sure our time constraints would allow us to adequately deal with the issues that would arise during a vacation rental. After much discussion, we put it on the rental market and it filled up immediately, this was the easy part. Execution then became a huge concern for us.
