These beautiful villas have been nicely decorated and offer all the ingredients for a fabulous vacation. The villa complexes in Shipyard are surrounded by trees draped in Spanish moss, all with swimming pools and within walking distance of the Atlantic Ocean. The numerous lagoons are home to many varieties of semi-tropical birds and wildlife. Villas are the major rental properties in Shipyard Plantation, although there are a few vacation homes. Shipyard Plantation has a private beach club and reserved parking for the resort's guests. Bicycling is very popular in Shipyard, and there are more than twelve miles of bike paths.
